Alison Doody
Alison Doody is a Dublin native who was born into a rich family in Dublin In Ireland, in the year 1966. Doody is the youngest of three children. She was raised in the convent where she developed a love for the arts. Then, she attended Dublin's National College of Fine Arts in Dublin but quit because she had a lack of motivation. She thought that she'd take a break in order to regain familiar with the area. When she was with her friends in a restaurant, a photographer approached and requested if she'd like to be a model. She agreed, thinking she'd be able utilize the cash to purchase pockets money. Modeling proved both fun and lucrative, and quickly she was modeling professionally. She was able to go around the world for commercial work after signing modeling agreements. A casting director saw her work and suggested that she try acting instead. In the year she turned 19, an agent from the casting department sent her to London and she was able to win an audition to star in A View to a Kill, the latest James Bond film. The acting was her love which led her to pursue a career as an actor. After her first film that she directed, she did a handful of TV dramas in London and in Dublin however her biggest break came when she was in the role of Aryan Seductress the Dr. Elsa Schneider in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989).
